Remembering

Hey guys.
I'm not sure of how many people still check this... I mean, this is the first time I've checked since the weekend after the show :) but I just wanted to inform everyone anyways. :)

So, obviously, Doug ment a lot to all of us... If not, we wouldn't have made this blog! lol so I was just sitting in bed one night, thinking (which could be one reason to my deprevation of sleep), and I wanted to do something that showed how much we all cared for Doug... and I suddenly felt very awake and started writing, which I do a lot when I can't sleep, and I wrote. I typed for about three hours the first night, which I'm not exactly sure how I did it through the tears, but I did it, and I've been randomly adding on ever since.
The story?

It's about all of us.
It starts out after Doug's funeral, and all of these kids who knew him get these letters, and the letters send them on missions, first, individual, silly missions, but eventually the letters come with plane tickets, and sooner or later they're all fallowing these letters around the globe, still learning from this man that they loved dearly. I'm not exactly sure where it's going, but I love what's there so far. It could take me ten months, or ten years to finish, but either way, I already know who it's going to be dedicated to.

Just thought you'd all like to know that you're still part of my life.

College

Hey everyone! I am just checking in. I started college about two weeks ago and I've had a lot of homework. I have been studying everyday ever since college started! It's tough, but I'm still enjoying it. Also, I am really sorry about Doug. His passing has been hard on all of us, but he would want us to keep living life to the fullest, and that is what I intend to do. One Week Later... Just Checking In

So, as I told a bunch of you, the blog is going to stay up as a means for communication and just a way to let each other know how and what we're doing from time to time. I want to encourage you all to continue posting pictures and videos and notes here. I've got A LOT of pictures and video clips from show week that I'm going to put up, but I've been crazy busy lately.

Two days after our last show I roadtripped out to Missouri to help my sister move out of her apartment. I got home at 4 am this morning so I'm dead tired but now we have to unload a Penske truck and find a place for all of my sister's furniture lol. I know a lot of you have already started school. Since I didn't get out until June 5th or so, my school starts a little bit later, so I'm heading back on Wendesday. Until then, hanging out, resting up, enjoying the last few blissful days of freedom from academia.

Hope you all enjoyed your last days of summer and are having a good start to the school year. I miss you guys so much!

A Most Magnificent Success

Well, my dear Sweensters, we did it. We opened with a bang. I really cannot imagine a more perfect opening night; I had the time of my life. It is such an honor and privelege to work with this incredibly talented cast and crew. And sure, we all had little slipups, or mistakes (as Zane so adamantly insists) but I insist that the audience didn't even notice.
In my eyes, last night was nothing short of perfect.

Thank you all for being so incredibly awesome, I love you all to pieces.

Now, let's get back out there on that stage and make every show better than the last!

Sad Realization

So Kevin said something that made me think today.

Next week is the last week we'll see eachother in the same spot, and be together as a pack.

Are you aware how sad that makes me? I love every single person in this cast. I don't want to split up. I enjoy being with you guys for seven hours a day more then I like being with a majority of the people I go to school with.

Can we please keep the blog just to keep intouch. That would really make my life.

So yeah, this Saturday, Erik and I and Khea hung out at Khea's house.

I wasn't really paying attention to the fact that the camera was upside down.
